MOTs

Having your engine remapped by experts replaces the software on your ECU with settings more applicable to your specific requirements; it’s rather like having a suit tailor made compared to buying one off the peg.
Remapping is simply a case of connecting your engine’s ECU to our state of the art equipment and replacing your existing software with a more ‘bespoke’ version. DPF issues?
The DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) is designed to reduce the emission of sooty deposits from your diesel engine’s exhaust. If you use your car for frequent short journeys with lots of stops and starts, the DPF can become clogged as it can’t clear itself unless the engine runs at its optimum temperature for protracted periods.
Eventually performance, economy and emissions suffer as the DPF loses its efficiency. Replacement is usually very expensive; often running into four figures.
